CiSHAN is coordinated by a secretariat with seven directorates namely: planning and development; resource mobilization and grants management; human rights, gender and communications; partnerships and coordination; programs; finance and administration; research, monitoring and evaluation. The secretariat works closely with a Governing Council (GC). The GC advises the secretariat on unique opportunities for collaboration, and provides strategic directions. CiSHAN also has a Board of Trustees (BOT) which ensures the organization follows its aims and objectives and carries out its aims in accordance with law of the federal republic of Nigeria and is comprised of eminent Nigerians with unquestionable character and wide experience as opinion leaders required to facilitate networking and promote transparency. CiSHAN implements most of its activities through a network of constituency coordinating entities (CCEs) selected for their extensive coverage and comparative access to persons and communities affected and/or infected with HIV. There are seven CCEs presently registered with CiSHAN.

Achievements
- Training of representatives of BoT, GC, CCEs, CBO's and National Office management team on resource mobilization/proposal development and advocacy
- We have mobilized over 20,000 clients on the HBC project.
- CiSHAN has successfully passed through change process facilitated by Management Science for Health (MSH) with support from U.S Agency for International Development (USAID).
- Been successfully playing a leading role in the Constituency Coordinating Entities (CCEs).
